'Winthrop' is a rugged heavier weight blend of organic linen and cotton canvas with tightly twisted yarns. Perfect for upholstery and loose covers and a wide range of home furnishings. Soft yet substantial, with a lovely drape. Grown and certified organic by Control Union.

Woven and finished to organic textile standards (GOTS) which means that no synthetic chemicals were used in the dyestuffs, weaving or finishing which might harm you, so you can use this fabric knowing that it is safe for you and your family. In addition, the mills treat the waste water so you won't be contributing to any other family's health concerns, and finally the GOTS requirements ensure that the workers are treated well, that working conditions are of high standard and there is no child labour.
