View our Limited Edition Range of Chairs
Pre 1950's: The chairs all predate the 1950's and are made of solid wood and individual in style. They are lovingly restored and refinished, then recovered in beautiful, vibrant modern fabrics to give them a new lease of life. The result is a quality piece of furniture which is unique in style and appearance, and above all of great character.
Taking Care of the environment: We believe it is important to take into consideration the environmental impact of the life-cycle of a product. So much furniture ends up in landfills within 2-3 years after leaving the factory. Reconditioned vintage furniture offers a valuable environmentally friendly alternative. Not only will it provide years of pleasure, but it does not give off toxic fumes into the atmosphere of your home. With a real wood, hand-crafted piece, it is also possible to repair it again and again, unlike MDF and chipboard.
Range of products available: Our range will vary as we acquire new items and finished products are sold. We specialise in individual pieces and our range is therefore not definitive and is constantly changing. Please contact us to find out what we have in stock, or to commission a piece to your own personal taste. We are also happy to source specific pieces for you.
Prices and Delivery: Prices vary according to the amount of work undertaken and the quality of fabric used. Products may be collected in person from our address in Calne, Wiltshire, by arrangement. We may also be able to deliver to an address within a reasonable range of this location, for a charge to be negotiated. It is also be possible to arrange for a delivery service, at the expense of the buyer. Please contact us on 01249 249756 or 07969 537248, or at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss.

Projects: The inset picture on the left shows a recent project for a client. The chairs were made around the 1950's and the seat panel had been recovered some years later in a wrap around foam sheet with tomato red plastic to give a more modern look at the time. We stripped the frame, repaired the joints where necessary and resealed the wood in French polish. The drop in seat panels were recovered in claret red velvet to match the client's curtains. The cost of the repairs and materials were around half of the price of equivalent new chairs and our client was delighted as the house is Victorian and new chairs would have looked out of place.
